    I have a feeling if those covers were more recent the models on them would be much thinner, I also have a feeling that those books were frequently stolen by young men so they could put the cover up in there school locker.

    I don't know, some of the books are recent publications. I think they think they're being ironic when, in fact, they're just being tacky.
