Mitt Romney has to be one or the other. This
article in the NYT is deeply disturbing. The man seems immune to the normal feelings we associated with humanity and, what strikes me as even worse, his success, such as it is, arises from this desert like moral and emotional inner life.
Romney is like robot that can only spew out poll tested sentences, I don't think he has any kind of internal compass other than a goal to be president; probably so he can say he did better than his dad.
ReplyDeletePandagon has thread going about mitt and the way he treated the family dog, what I take away from it is that in the world of mitt being cruel is for everyone else's good, the fact that he seems to enjoy being cruel is just a perk for him.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, he is remarkably naked about both his desire to do what it takes to be president and the fact that he has no moral center or compass, for all his Mormonism.
